At least three Turkish trawlers were spotted fishing just a couple of nautical miles off the coast of Mykonos, in the central Aegean, on Sunday.
A camera belonging to Mykonoslive.tv caught the Turkish vessels fishing off the cosmopolitan Agrari Beach.
Reports say that that the trawlers later sailed towards Paros Island.
Mykonoslive.tv reports that the sight of the trawlers fishing so near the Mykonos coast alarmed the local population and put the Greek Coast Guard on high alert.
It is not clear whether or not the trawlers were sailing in international waters.
