Growing Frustration in British Govt as Allegations Against Russia Fail to Pan Out

Weeks of British allegations that Russia is behind poisonings in Salisbury took a big blow when despite repeatedly insisting they’d proven this, British scientists at Porton Down admitted they were unable to determine the source of the poison.
This is a mounting problem especially within the British Foreign Office, as Boris Johnson had invested heavily in blaming Russia, and is under growing pressure for lying about the facts of the situation. Johnson even claimed Porton Down had told him there was “no doubt” the poison was Russian. That’s clearly untrue.

Skripal relative quoted on Russian state TV says Yulia and Sergei ‘getting better’: ‘Everyone’s health is fine’
A woman purporting to be Yulia’s cousin says she expects to be discharged from hospital soon

Yulia Skripal has said she and her father Sergei Skripal are “getting better,” according to unverified audio played by Russian state TV.
The transcript details a conversation between Yulia, who along with her father was poisoned by a military-grade nerve agent in Salisbury last month, and her cousin Viktoria.
During the conversation, Yulia told her cousin ”everyone’s health is fine” and that her father was “resting”, according to audio played on the Rossiya-1 TV station.

On September 1, 1939, German radio announced the outbreak of the Second World War by reporting Adolf Hitler’s speech to the Reichstag, in which the dictator said, “This night for the first time Polish regular soldiers fired on our own territory. We have been returning the fire since 5:45 A.M. Henceforth, bomb will be met with bomb.”
Under the direction of Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels, the invasion of Poland was portrayed as an act of self-defence.
A similar resort to lying and demonization has been carried out by the British, American and several European governments around the March 4 poisoning in Salisbury, England of former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia.
