The agreement on the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Iran will be signed during a separate visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Moscow, Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali said.

“This agreement was ready to be signed in Kazan (during the BRICS summit on Oct. 22-24), but the presidents of the two countries agreed at the meeting in Ashgabat that it will be signed during bilateral visits. On that occasion, Vladimir Putin invited Pezeshkian to Moscow,” Jalali noted.
