Jenin, occupied West Bank – A commander of a Palestinian armed group has been killed by Israeli forces and his older brother arrested in an early morning raid, the Palestinian health ministry said.
Mustafa al-Kastoni was shot in the head, chest and stomach, the ministry said, and was pronounced dead at the government hospital in Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.
A Palestinian woman who “supports medical professionals” was also shot in the chest and abdomen during the raid, the health ministry said.

‘The pain keeps getting worse’: Palestinian teenager mourns friend killed in Jenin raid

Nothing has felt the same for 14-year-old Doha Turkman since her best friend was killed by Israeli gunfire on June 20, during a raid on Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.
Sadil Naghnaghia, a 15-year-old Palestinian girl, was shot in the head as she filmed Israeli military vehicles as they passed her home.
Seven people were killed and at least 91 injured in the raid.
Sadil fell into a coma and was declared dead a day later.
“We are trying to be strong for Sadil. That’s the way she liked seeing us,” Doha tells The National on WhatsApp. Her profile picture shows her in a black dress and Sadil, dressed in white.

Israeli forces shoot dead 16-year-old Palestinian boy during incursion in Jericho

Israeli forces shot and killed a 16-year-old Palestinian boy in the Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank early yesterday morning.
Qusai Omar Mohammad Suleiman, 16, was shot with live ammunition around 4:00 a.m. on August 15 by Israeli forces as they made incursions into Aqbat Jabr Refugee Camp near Jericho, according to documentation collected by Defense for Children International – Palestine. Qusai was on his motorbike about 50 meters (165 feet) away from where Israeli forces were deployed when Israeli forces fired live ammunition toward him and other Palestinians nearby. Qusai sustained a gunshot wound to his chest and bled for approximately 15 minutes before he could be evacuated. He was transferred to Jericho Governmental Hospital in a private car and soon after was pronounced dead.

Israeli forces kill two in Aqbat Jabr camp

Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinians, one of them a 16-year-old boy, during a raid in Aqbat Jabr refugee camp near the occupied West Bank city of Jericho on Tuesday.
Defense for Children International-Palestine said that the slain teenager, Qusai Suleiman, was shot in the hand and chest.
The second slain Palestinian was identified as Muhammad Najum, 25.
Israel’s defense ministry said that the pair had opened fire at soldiers during the raid. However, eyewitnesses told the Tel Aviv daily Haaretz that the teen was unarmed.

Israel Kills Two Palestinians, Including Teen, Near Jericho

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces killed two Palestinians earlier today in a raid on a refugee camp near the city of Jericho. One of the dead was identified as 16-year-old Qusai al-Walaji. He is at least the 41st child killed by Israeli forces this year.
