Germany’s Foreign Minister has just said that she will continue supporting Ukraine even if such support comes at the cost of Germans’ livelihoods. Germany has been providing weapons to Ukraine to fight against Russia. Russia, in turn, has almost turned off natural gas supplies to Germany. Due to the extremely low flow rates across the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, Germany is now struggling with an energy crisis.
