France is reportedly upset with the U.S. for sending its deputy secretary of state, Victoria Nulland, to Niger to speak with the military leaders. French newspaper Le Figaro, quoting sources from the foreign ministry, reported that Paris doesn’t need enemies when it has allies like Washington.
