World War Three, the favorite topic of political analysts over the last few months, has moved from the realm of speculation to a fast-emerging reality after Russia announced a partial mobilization for what it sees as a war with NATO and the collective West. Not a war of words, not a proxy war, not the trading of sanctions, but a full-blown kinetic conflict with already thousands of dead on both sides. Can anything be done at this point to prevent further escalation?
