Thousands of people from progressive sections across Greece took part in a massive demonstration protesting the ratification of the Greece- US defence deal

On January 30, thousands marched in Greece against the ratification of the Greece-US Defense Cooperation Agreement. The march was organized by the Greek Committee for International Detente and Peace (EEDYE) and the Federation of Greek Women (OGE). Anti-imperialist trade unions, along with youth and student groups also participated in the march.
