MDN : Louisa Hanoune held in “custody” in civilian prison in Blida

ALGIERS- Louisa Hanoune, General Secretary of Workers Party (PT) has been placed Thursday afternoon in “preventive detention” by the Military Court of Blida in a civilian prison in the same province, the National Defence Ministry (MDN) affirmed.
Louisa Hanoune, Secretary General of the Workers Party (PT), was held Thursday in “provisional detention” by the military court of Blida.
Secretary General of the Workers’ Party Louisa Hanoune has been summoned to appear before the military prosecutor of Blida’s military court as part of the investigation with respect to the same case involving Said Bouteflika, General Toufik and Bachir Tartag, detained last Sunday.
Louisa Hanoune was called to testify concerning conspiracy crimes against the authority of the state and that of the army.
In the same case, Said Bouteflika, General Toufik and Bachir Tartag were remanded in custody, last Sunday, after their appearance before the military prosecutor.
They had been arrested, last Saturday, by the security services. The Secretary General of the Workers’ Party is the first public figure to be convened in this case.
